We move out on the 3 June 2012 and welcome anyone to take up the lease!
GENERAL - The house is a neat, homely, high ceilings, brick, polished wood floors throughout. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, 1 bathroom, front and back decks, study, laundry, fridge, home theatre storage area, open yard near a park area and carport.
TRAVEL - It’s a 50 m walk to the closest bus stop and only 20-30 mins to the city on the bus. Driving is 5-10 min, and Cycling is 20 min to the CBD. Shops, Coles supermarket and cafe's are less than 1km away. Its 5km to Kelvin Grove QUT or 8 km to QUT city, or 9km to Uni of QLD.
LOCATION - It has like 5 parks nearby and a stream which is great for running if you don’t mind dodging all the joggers! There is all the shops you need like post office, travel, Markets, Coles, Aldi, restaurants is only 1.5 km away. Red Hill and Paddington is 3km away with great café’s and art galleries etc. Gym (Fitness first) is 1.5 km away.
•ROOM 1 - LARGE ROOM (4.3 m x 3.7 m) main bedroom has 2 large sized windows with floor to ceiling storage space across one wall. Also inbuilt mirror and shelves etc.
•ROOM 2 - MEDIUM ROOM (~5 m x ~2.4 m) the medium sized bedroom has windows .. Also inbuilt mirror. Has bed available and cupboard.
•ROOM 3 – MEDIUM TWIN ROOMS (2.4 x 3 ) and (~3.5 x 4 ). This room is perfect for a permanent study desk area. It has a clear view of grass and park area and good for long term study in one area.
Note the rent for the whole house is 405 per week. Normallt the large room is 150 PW, medium room 110, and study twin room 145 PW. So hopefull this gives tips if you move in with two people etc, and look for a third later. Excellent area... sad to go! Im off travelling after 4 years there! :_)
