Bondi Share House is an introduction agency that allow people to meet through us and then form groups that jointly lease properties all over the Eastern Suburbs. Bondi Share House provide a weekly range of group activities for people who have met through us. The activities range from movie nights, horse riding, bowling nights, comedy events, poker competitions, day trips outside Sydney and weekends away.
Our Profile:
Bondi Share House specialises in assisting longer term tenants like working professionals or students who seek high standard accommodation and are looking to join a social community. Most of the properties are quality properties that are designed to attract long term stable professionals or students. The standard terms of tenancy are a minimum of 6 months, with most groups signing 12 month tenancies.
Why We Were Started:
Modern day living has become expensive in Sydney. Rents have risen so much that people are forced to share single properties rather than rent their own place.
Through his own past experiences, our founder Michael learn first hand about the difficulties faced by prospective tenants.
Whilst looking for accommodation, he experienced the struggle of finding a suitable property in a market where there was so much competition from other people. Then, when deciding to live in share accommodation, he faced the uncertainty that he never really knew the other people who he would be sharing the property with.
As a new person living in shared accommodation, he experienced the challenges of living with people who seemed distant and unfamiliar, and often having arguments about almost anything. He couldn’t just move out because of the time and effort required to find a new place. It was these experiences that led him to realise that there was a need for an organised structure to assist people to meet and tenant properties together specifically for professionals.
Bondi Share House is the fulfilment of that vision.
