We're looking for a sociable, creative and sharing-minded professional or student to join our share house and family home! Couples or twin share also possible.
The room is furnished with large Shabby chic wardrobe, huge desk, tallboy drawers, lamps and very comfy double bed. We are able to store some of these, though, if necessary. 2 bathrooms in house, so share a bathroom with only 1 other. Whole house is double brick, so it stays nice and warm in winter.
We are a creative and sociable married couple (30 and 34), with 4 kids aged 6, 5, 3, and 1. We share our house with a young M-F couple from Adelaide. We enjoy meeting new people, baking yummy treats, cultivating a productive garden, going to local markets, restoring old furniture, and council clean-up rescue operations and late-night urban publicly-accessible fruit tree harvests!
As a share house, we enjoy socialising over a meal, BBQ, glass of wine, coffee and croissants, or film night.
The house is situated just off Enmore Rd, with multiple bus routes (423, 426, 428, M30, 355, 352, 308) into the city, Newtown, Sydney Uni and Bondi Junction. 5 minute walk to Marrickville Metro shopping centre, Bourke St Bakery, Enmore Swimming Pool, and close by to Addison Rd Markets, and Enmore and Newtown shops and cafes.
The house is very spacious, with large lounge room, 2 bathrooms, gas stove, laundry (with dryer), shaded patio, and a big backyard with numerous fruit trees, strawberries, raspberries, herbs, vegies and happy free range hens!
Rent $195/ week. Bills $15 per week. Total = $210/week. This includes all bills, and shared use of internet (120GB/month), landline, use of all amenities (fully-equipped kitchen, laundry) and freshly laid eggs!
Couples/ twin share = $230/week (i.e. $115 each)
