Preferred room and flatmate description

Hello there...

We are two and looking for a third. Our names are April and Nick.

April is 21, used to play professional junior tennis, is a vegetarian, and eats and lives well with frequent visits to the beach and park to play soccer or basketball. She works in Monavale as a Barista. What she'd like in a housemate when put on the spot via a phone call at work:

"...well someone who is respectful, cleans up after themselves, good sense of humour and likes an occasional chat"

I (Nick) am 27, studied Design, Permaculture and Sustainability, I love good food, travel, my print making course on Tuesday nights and playing in the garden growing veges and kitchen herbs and tending the chickens. On the weekends I surf, beach run, free dive off north head and go for an occasional day hike, and will often be farting around in the garden learning chicken speak. Already 13 distinct requests have been recognised, with "brown rice gives us gas" being the most interesting of the birds calls.

I like a character in the home who is happy doing there thing, has passions and interests, likes to drink tea and pour one for a fellow housemate, likes to take care of themselves and can talk about things other than how drunk they were last weekend. Our house is pretty mindful, we tend to avoid harsh cleaning chemicals and prefer to opt for plant based products. We recycle and have compost bins that will provide quality soil for our vege garden.

Our house is healthy and happy. Its an old three bedroom house with a massive backyard, gas kitchen, polished floors, ornate 10 foot ceilings and a charming big sunroom. The toilet is seperate from the bathroom, but there is just one of each. We have three lovely chickens who lay well providing three fresh, rich, yellow yolked eggs each day. Both April and I are quite new to the home and are still giving it a character, so we would like you to help us with that, rather than just moving into an already established place. Nick has collected all the materials and inputs for a wonderful big vege' garden. The street is quiet and family oriented so we wont be hosting grand parties or playing music too loudly. The street is warm and friendly, and our house is quite set back from it making it ear impossible to hear occasional passing cars. The lawn in the backyard is soft and green, perfect for a throw rug or an afternoon 'tea party'! The house has a nice (breezy) outlook to the north, and is roughly 15 minutes walk to the beach and manly town centre. We hope to hear from you sooner than later. Aaron is moving out in about two weeks to go sailing and we would like to have the new tenant organised and in place prior to that.
